How do I register for Piccle?
Piccle is currently in public BETA. You can request early access, which will be granted when we release the next set of invites. If you know someone already using Piccle you can ask them to invite you and you will get immediate access.
How much does it cost?
We currently have two plans:
- The Standard Plan. This is our free plan and offers 2 GB of disk space and allows you to create unlimited timelines
- The Super Plan. Offers 5 GB of disk space and unlimited timelines for a monthly subscription of £5
Will there always be a free plan?
Yes. We will always offer a free plan.
Where are my photos and videos stored?
All files and data you upload to Piccle are stored in a secure data centre within the EU.
Is it secure?
Security and the privacy of your files is our number one priority. We have implemented stringent security measures to ensure your files and data are safe and protected. Files you upload to Piccle are only accessible by you and other users of the child's timeline by logging into your account on the Piccle website.
What is essential when using Piccle is that you keep your account details private. Always use a strong password and do not share it with anyone.
Can other people see the photos and videos I upload?
All files you upload to Piccle are private. The only people who can see your photos and videos are those who have been granted access to the particular child's timeline.
If you are the owner or administrator of a timeline you can manage which people have access.
Once I upload files, who owns them?
You always retain ownership of your files. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you upload. We will not use or access them. And you are free to remove them at any time.
How do I invite people?
Once you have created a timeline, click on the little settings icon (cog) and select 'People'. This lists all people who have access to the timeline. To invite a new person add their email address where is says "Invite someone new onto this timeline" and press 'Invite'. They will then receive an invitation email with instructions for access.
There are three types of access privileges you can set for people:
- Administrator. Has full access to the timeline, can add people, can view and amend all posts and can edit/delete the timeline itself.
- View and upload. Can view all posts on the timeline and add their own. Can amend their own posts but cannot amend those posted by other people. Has no access to timeline administration.
- View only. Can view the timeline but does not have permission to add their own posts.
You can remove people from the timeline by clicking on the remove icon (cross).
You will only see the option to manage people on a timeline if you are the timeline's owner or administrator.
How do I create a photo book?
We want photo books to be really easy to create. Photos will be pulled automatically from a timeline and compiled into the appropriate format, ready to be printed as a premium hardcover photo book.
We are currently testing integration with our printing partners and hope to launch the Piccle photo books very soon.
How do I change my email address or password?
Once logged in, click on the menu icon in the top right (three horizontal lines) and select 'Settings' from the menu that appears. Within the "Your account details" section you can update your email address and password.

I've spotted a bug - what do I do?
Piccle is very new and still in BETA. As we see an increasing number of people use the service, it's not unlikely that bugs may appear. In such instances we would ask you to report it by email to help@piccle.co.uk.

We think we've got a really great service in Piccle, but it's only in its infancy. New ideas and features may come in the future and it's from you, our users, that many ideas may come.
